Summary

Why do we use different words for different things?  To some this may be a mystery, while others may know a lot on the topic.  There are so many words for some things, you might not be able to say all of them.
One example would be soda.  It depends on where you live but, it has multiple words for it!  Probably the most common is pop.  Though there is multiple others such as, fizzies or tonic!  Soft drink and Carbonated beverage are two more wonderful examples.  What do you refer to them as?  Do any of these even sound close to what you use?  Once again you will never be able to understand them all but, you can always learn something new.
The true reason of why this is normal is relatively simple.  It is simply because of the differences!   Like what was used as a child.  No one that is not your brother or sister knows the words you describe things as.  Even parents might use different things!  It also has to deal with different culture.  Cultures are all different, so why wouldn't the words be?   This is a truly interesting topic that you should defiantly look into.
In conclusion, all words have different words for them.  One major reason is that some people can not pronounce one way of saying it.  Just think if soda has so many try to look up other words for other things.  You may be surprised at what you find, there is a world of words to use so try some new ways!

Narrative

To start off, my view on the subject of the world having different words for things is that it is very interesting.  I know that we all view things differently, so in this case using a describing word for something is fine.
I went a little further into the topic by asking all my family members what they called soda.  My family that lives in Ohio mostly replied, pop!  I thought it was weird, because I am so used to just saying soda. I loved reading this article because it opened my eyes up to different words.  I think it is a very interesting, and I wish I would have been exposed to it sooner.
If I do some more thinking I could probably come up with a new word for every food!  Since I know that most are describing I believe everyone could do this!  I decided to write down words for pizza, I came up with Italian Rounds and filled circles!
In conclusion this is a very interesting topic.  I loved learning about it and sharing the information with you.  I recommend this topic to anyone with an open, creative mind.  I assure you you will become addicted like I did!  I now have a whole paper of different word ideas for random things.  I came up with some new words for calculator too.  They ones I came up with are, digit counter and number maker.  This was a great choice and I would love to learn more about it.

Busy

  •  My first reason is that , I took all horizons so I am held to a higher standard.
  • Second, I have had to learn how to play tennis.  With me being a total newbie, I have to practice every night so I can keep everything good between my coach and I!
  • Third, I have to memorize lots of songs in choir which can be difficult with my loud, annoying class!  Also I had to learn how to read music, which I am okay with, but it can also be tricky.
  • Fourth, I have lots of homework every night!  I always end up at like nine or ten remembering some daily work I had to finish!
  • Fifth, I only have four minutes to get to each class.  Which is fine but, I am so small compared to everyone else, so I am trampled every day!
  • Sixth, I have to read a lot!  By the end of school I have to have read twenty-six books.  I like reading but it take up some time on top of all the homework.
  • Seventh, my family usually eats around five, so sometimes I have to work through dinner and just heat it up!  I have done this about seven times since school started and it gets annoying!
  • Eighth reason is, I am constantly needing something for some project!  Most the time I have it but when I don't, I am searching every store in town!  Which burns up my time too.
  • Ninth, it is hard to sleep!  Since I do a lot of work and still need to take a shower, I usually get in bed around ten-thirty.  This doesn't seem that late to others but I used to go to bed at eight-thirty.
  • Finally I have two animals to care for too!  I got a rabbit recently and I am still trying to figure out what it likes!  Then I have a dog who is old so needs extra attention!  I have to care for them as well as me so that is why I am so busy!
In conclusion I just have a lot on my hands, and it has to be done so, I guess I will have to wait for Christmas for a long break.

The Most Horrific Summer Day

Have you ever had a super bad day?  Well I know I have!  Nothing would go right that day and I was just sick of it!  This also carried out for about a week because of the thing that happened.

It all started on a very bright summer day.  My family was on vacation at the time, in Arizona.  We were about to head to the Grand Canyon.  My dad said we wouldn't be there long, so being a dumb child I did not put sunscreen on!  Why did I do this, I have no idea I knew it was very hot and sunny!
We walked lots of trails and before we knew it three hours had past.   We decided to pack up and go to our hotel and relax.  Around the time I wanted to go to bed i felt a stinging on my upper back region!  I went to look in the mirror and my back was redder than a tomato!  I had a super bad sunburn, probably the worst I had every had.                                When i told my parents i had a sunburn they thought is was just a little one, until they saw it.  They did not know what to do to help me because we did not have any aloe with us.  They just put some lotion on it and told me to get some rest and it would feel better the next day. So I  did and got a wonderful rest.                                                                                                                                The next morning I woke up and it hurt worse!  The pain hurt like my back was on fire!  I complained and complained until my parents went to buy me some medicine.  They came back with some solar-caine spray and some weird kind of lotion.  At first the spray felt like little pin pricking me until it kicked in.  Then it gave me a temporary soothing feeling.  After about two hours it wore off and i put the lotion on.  It worked a lot better so i continued to use it throughout the day.
Luckily I healed from it.  The way I did was by using the lotion the rest of vacation.  Then when i got home i used the aloe we had which felt really good on it.  It felt like an ice bath in Alaska.  By the way that's pretty cold!  I am happy it got better, but I still have darker skin there than the rest of me!  I still think it is so weird that it healed that way.
The next few line will be how I have learned to not get a sunburn!  First is to always wear sunscreen, even if your just playing in your backyard.  Also don't forget to reapply! This will make your chance of getting a sunburn even less!  Second, wear a hat and sunglasses.  I know you have herd it a million times but, do you want to have a lobster face!  I use these two ideas to stay as sunburn free as possible.
In conclusion, this was a few ruff days that turned out okay.  On the bright side I did not get skin cancer!  That was probably the worst experience in my life!  It is the most painful one I had ever had.  Though I just remember that there our other kids going through worse things so I should be thankful it was only a sunburn.  My parents and I have learned one thing, always wear sunscreen!  This was the worst mistake we could have ever made.  I don't think we were awake enough to realize to put on sunscreen anyway!

How to Care For a Rabbit

There are many steps for taking care of a rabbit.  If you are not sure you came to the right place.  I have a rabbit of my own so I have had plenty of experience.  I can help you make sure your rabbit stays happy and healthy.  To learn how just keep on reading!

  1. The first step is to have a good sized cage.  This allows the rabbit to run, jump, and play happily. Also you don't want them to not get exercise, because this makes them very uncooperative.  Although make sure they don't over exhaust themselves, this could make it harder for them to breathe and result in death.  2. The second step is to buy the right food.  Make sure you get them a good brand. The brand that has worked best for me is Just the ones you can find at Wal-mart.  Remember sometimes high quality things don't work as well!  Don't go out and buy some super expensive food it all works the same. Don't give them to much either, about a dixie cup a day will do.
    3.  Third, they need plenty of water!  Make sure they have at least a full bottle for their cage during the winter.  Though in the summer they need more, so get them a couple bottles filled up!  One precautionary thing is don't just put a dish of water, they could get it in their nose. My suggestion is a roller bottle bottle, those work perfect.
    4.  Make sure they have lots of toys!  These provide fun play time as well as something to shave their long teeth down.  Such as stuffed logs, they are made of a crunchy outer coating and filled with alfalfa and seeds.  Personally my rabbit likes the outer more so you could just get the unstuffed logs.  Another thing is they can play when your not there to play with them, which is great.
5. Get them a smaller house to sleep in too.  This is going to be their secure place when they are tired or scared!  Make sure to put some pine shavings in it for warmth.  This also allows them to do their natural instinct burrow.
 6. Sixth, you need to groom them properly.  One of the easiest ways is to have them laying in a place you can get to them easy.  Then lightly run your fingers through the hair getting all lose hair off.  You should do this weekly or daily during the end of winter when they are losing their thick coat. They can choke on the loose hair so that is why you should do this.

 7. For seven while you have the toys from step four, they still need some kind of treat to mix in with their food.  This will make eating a little more exciting.  I use a mix that has seeds and dried berries together. Simply throw a little in with their food and they love it! This will make eating a little more exciting.  I use a mix that has seeds and dried berries together. Just like any other animal they go to the restroom.  When you start to notice a stench, you need to dump out all of the ole shavings and put new in.  Make sure to do this weekly! Your rabbit will thank you for it. This is super important!  9. Give your rabbit lots of love.  This can either be simply petting them or hugging them. Just make sure they know you love them and care about them. This will make your bond strong and let the rabbit has trust in you. 10.   Keep the temperature good for them.  During the winter buy a heat light to keep them warm. In the summer go out and with a tiny bit of water stroke their hair to keep them cool. Now those steps are going to make a happy rabbit.
